Hello,
If you love horror, particularly books and short stories, and would like to explore the subtle and not-so-subtle elements that make even James and the Giant Peach horrific, please come back.
Here at FearDance I will help horror readers connect with brilliant horror writers who may never grace the shelves of a local book store. I will uncover horror disguised as Literary Fiction because the publishing industry doesn’t want “ruin” a book’s shot at success by relegating it to the dark corners of the Horror section.
I even plan to help myself and others overcome genre-bias so that we can enjoy exceptionally written horror stories whether they star ghosts, zombies, mutated mountain men, or the Mad Hatter (yes I find the Lewis Carroll one scary and very disconcerting).
I, like many, don’t have much spare time on my hands, but when I do I want them to be spent reading horror, like Sleeping Beauty or Salem’s Lot. So if you’re reading this, I hope you will come back to give me your thoughts and throw some suggestions my way.
Sincerely,
Staci
